Writers need to diversify these days. Certain skills are useful whether you write poetry, fiction or creative nonfiction. This program helps you become more accomplished in one or more of these genres, and to guide you in discovering talents you never knew you had. Discuss a wide range of topics, and participate in instructive and entertaining writing assignments in a most open and supportive environment. Come to a deeper understanding of what makes good poetry, fiction and nonfiction, and develop the valuable skills needed to write well in each. Bring a piece of writing you’ve been working on to share with the group.
